Zabbix

Zabbix is an enterprise open source monitoring solution for networks and applications, created by Alexei Vladishev. It is designed to monitor and track the status of various network services, servers, and other network hardware. (Source: Wiki)

My Goal of this series is to install zabbix, work with multiple proxies and securely send these checks across the internet.

Because Zabbix sends it’s checks unencrypted over the internet, I make use of “Stunnel” to encrypt my traffic with a certificate.

Long story short:

Zabbix

So we start off using Installing the latest Centos 7.1 Core 64 Bit (i’m sure there are other good blogs that explain how to do this)
When it’s installed we begin configuring it and installing zabbix

The series:

Zabbix 3.0.5 on Centos 7.1 – Part 1

Zabbix 3.0.7 Proxy on Centos 7.1 – Part 2

Zabbix 2.4.6 on Centos 7.1 – Part 3
